Same Product New Name

Have you ever loved a product so much that you started keeping a few extra on hand, just in case it was discontinued?  I have had a few products "disappear" on me and it has been hard to replace them.  The newest product to become extinct was my Living Proof straight making styling cream that I raved about in my post Having a Good Hair Day(s).  Recently, I went looking for a replacement bottle and it was no where to be found.  Turns out the company decided to rename the bottle... ahhh... a press release would have been nice!  So my beloved straightening product is now called Nourishing Style Cream.

Living Proof Styling Creams

I am skeptical by nature and decide that a little research was necessary.   I went to Melissa, in our Beauty Department, who hooked me up with the original product and is a loyal Living Proof Straightening Cream user.   She was just as concerned as I was that the product was not available.  She contacted her "sources" and found out the company streamlined their line and our product was still available but under a new name.  I went right to Sephora and purchased a bottle to try out for myself, while I was there I also purchased the new Prime Style Extender.  I may be a skeptic, but I am also easily swayed to try new products.

Prime Style Extender

Luckily for me (and you) I am still having very good hair days! I can happily report that the nourishing cream is just like the older product and my hair stays frizz free, straight and is easy to blow dry.  I also tried out the prime style extender, applying it to my wet hair first and then the nourishing cream.  Worked like a dream!  I need a few more trials to give it a full report, but for now I can say I am one happy, loyal customer!

**Note: When I read the reviews, many of the customers used these products to style their hair curly, I have only used it when I blew my hair straight, but will try it on a curly day. to be continued..
