I found two very rich chocolate cakes, that would certainly satisfy my sweet tooth, but would they be too much with all the Easter candy?

This Brown-Butter Cake comes with recipes for different flavored mousse filling and butter cream frosting. So many delicious choices!

Lisa suggested this Raspberry White Cake. While she likes fruit, especially raspberries, and cake combined, my husband and I are not fans but, I do love meringue icing, and if it would work, I would swap out the raspberries for chocolate!

This may be just the right cake! Light and airy, with meringue icing and shaved coconut! I would make a chocolate sauce for the side.

These cupcakes could be made from a box (I won't tell if you don't!) and then frosted with your favorite flavor frosting. I would do a semi-sweet chocolate frosting and make the cookies in all different Easter shapes.
I could not resist this Bunny Cake! It looks so cute and I bet it is delicious!
Since there are so many options to chose from, I am going to forward this post to my family and see what they like best. What would you make?

All fun choices!! Visually, the first is my favorite but I think any would be a delicious ending to an Easter feast!
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is anything better than a cupcake. That would be my vote!
ReplyDeleteI made this last year, and, boy-oh-boy did everyone love it! Nigella Lawson's Lemon Meringue Cake: http://www.nigella.com/recipes/view/lemon-meringue-cake-109
ReplyDeleteBut I've got to admit, that chocolate cake looks pretty amazing. Dilemmas, dilemmas!
